Please note that a pH outside the ideal range of 7.2 to 7.6 will reduce the effectiveness of chlorine as a sanitiser, as less free chlorine is produced. You must aim to keep the pH within the range that best suits chlorine as a disinfecting agent - THIS IS IMPORTANT.

    Water Balance

The water is balanced to ensure that it retains its crystal clear appearance and to prevent damage to the pool surfaces and circulation systems. Without balancing the water, scale and corrosion is likely to occur to the pool equipment and machinery.
Correct water balancing ensures that the pH, total alkalinity, calcium hardness and total dissolved solids are within recommended limits. Champion pH Reducer is a very high quality product.
