Required pH level is 7.2 to 7.6 Please note that a pH outside the ideal range of 7.2 to 7.6 will reduce the effectiveness of chlorine as a sanitiser, as less free chlorine is produced. You must aim to keep the pH within the range that best suits chlorine as a disinfecting agent - THIS IS IMPORTANT. Dosage:To Lower pH: Use Champion ph Reducer: 1/2 lb per 10,000 gallons in soft water areas or 1lb per 10,000 gallons in hard water area. Monitor by checking after every dose. To Raise pH: Use Champion ph Increaser: 1/2 lb per 10,000 gallons in soft water areas or 1lb per 10,000 gallons in hard water area. Monitor by checking after every dose.
