Certikin Ramp Light for concrete and liner pools.
The Ramp Light allows the bulb to be changed via the deck box instead of having to reach through the water.
The light niche is built into the wall of the pool to house the Ramp Light, similar to standard underwater light systems. However, the bulb is mounted on the end of a reinforced 'umbilical cord' cable, which is fed down into the back of the light housing via the deck box.
When the deck box lid at the edge of the pool is lifted, the Ramp Light can easily be pulled out via a specially designed handle and plug on the end of the cable, so breaking the electrical connection and thus, allowing maintenance and bulb changing to take place. This takes seconds and means that you don’t even get your hands wet!
The light runs off a 100W halogen bulb which, with a life expectancy of 3000 hours, lasts up to three times as long as a traditional pool light.
The unit is supplied with a 100W halogen bulb but excludes the transformer.
